  1. Day 1 Arrive Cochin

    You will arrive at Cochin’s Airport./ railway station & transferred to your hotel.
    Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel[normal hotels check in time 1300Hrs]
    Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as 'God's Own Country'. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.

  2. Day 2 In Cochin

    In Cochin

    Today you will start your day with a half day city tour of the city. You will first proceed to visit the Chinese fishing nets. The cantilevered fishing nets line the entrance to the harbour mouth. Chinese traders are believed to have originally introduced them in the 14th century although, today parts of the nets are known by Portuguese names. You will then visit St. Francis Church, originally named after Santo Antonio and dedicated to him as the Patron Saint of Portugal, St. Francis Church is the first church to have been in the new European influenced tradition.. You will also be visiting The Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday) at Mattancherry, which was built in 1555 and its coronation hall and murals at Ramayana are noteworthy features. Later you visit to the oldest Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Saturday).

    Afternoon you can explore local market where you get all items at minimal cost & if interested ,in the evening can go for cruising on shared motor boat through Cochin Backwater[Depends on availability] on direct payment basis[for this you can take the help of your guide / Hotel]

  3. Day 3 Cochin –Munnar

    Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred in your private vehicle to Munnar (approx. 04 Hrs).
    Upon arrival in Munnar, check-in at the hotel.
    MUNNAR - Munnar is the nature-lover’s paradise. Snuggling in the green and serene Kannan Devan Hills lies the quiet and restful resort of Munnar. Panoramic views of low-flying clouds and mist filled valleys make it a pretty little heaven with a cool bracing climate. It was opened up out of virgin forests a century ago by pioneering planters. Within its remote and elderly churches - gracious, stone-structures with ancient chandeliers and rosewood pews. A little beyond lies Anaimudi, South India's highest peak.
    Spend the evening at leisure.

  4. Day 4 Munnar

    Morning After breakfast go for Munnar sightseeing which includes Mattupetty dam, tea estates, eco point, spice plantation, rose garden, photo point, honey bee tree, tea museum, blossom park, Kundala dam and top station

  5. Day 5 Munnar-Thekkady

    Post breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to Periyar and check-in at hotel.
    Periyar forest of Thekkady is well known for wild life sanctuary, situated on the banks of Periyar Lake and also known for diversity of wildlife and scenic beauty, which attracts visitors from all over the world. It is situated on the high ranges of the Western Ghats which is covered by dense evergreen forests and savannah grass land. The Periyar wild life sanctuary offers a fairy good chance to seeing the herds of elephants, sambars, tigers, gaurs, lion tailed macaques & Nilgiri langurs in its natural habitat. Spread across an area of 777 sq. km of which 360 sq. km is thick ever green forest. In 1978 Periyar wildlife sanctuary was declared a Tiger reserve. Interestingly Periyar is often referred to Thekkady and as Kumily. These names are used interchangeably for the same area, however this can be a little confusing. To put it clearly The Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve lie in Thekkady which is an area in the town of Kumily.
    In the evening proceed to The Kerala Kalari Centre which is a great place to witness the ancient Kalaripayattu martial dance performed[on direct payment basis ,you can take the help of driver to book the seats] and practised by dedicated local swordsmen. Traditional masters of the art form perform skits from mythology to entertain the public and show off their swordsmanship ,Elephant Safari Body massaging with doctors consultant ..

  6. Day 6 Thekkady

    In the morning proceed for common boat ride at the Lake Periyar[On direct payment basis & depends avalabaility / Advance booking ]. The Periyar Tiger Reserve and National Park Established in 1934 as the Nelliampatty Sanctuary, the park was enlarged in 1950 and is India's southernmost tiger reserve. The lake covers some 10 sq. miles and most of the sanctuary is undulating. Since boat travel is the only means of transport in the park, large areas can be covered in a short time. Among the game found here are gaur (the largest of the world's wild oxen), elephant, wild pig, sambar, barking deer, mouse deer, the rare and endangered lion-tailed macaque, the Nilgiri langur, the common langur and the bonnet macaque, porcupine, Malabar squirrel, wild dog and tiger
    In the afternoon proceed for a Adventurous open jeep safari to Sathram Hills . and guided walk through spice plantation [On direct payment basis ] to see the cultivation of cardamom , pepper , vanilla and coffee.

  7. Day 7 Thekkady – Allppey

    [Surface: 150Km/3.5 Hrs Approx

    Today morning after breakfast, you will be transferred in your private vehicle to Alleppey ALLEPPEY - Also called Alappuzha, Alleppey is a pleasant easy-going market town surrounded by coconut plantations. With its large network of canals, it is a major center for backwater cruises and the venue for spectacular snake boat races. Also called “Venice of the East”, the town is the headquarters of Kerala’s coir industry and also important for cashew nut processing.
    Climb aboard the traditional kettuvallams (riceboats) converted into houseboats with bedrooms and attached toilets. Originally these boats were used as ferries to carry rice. Cruise through the backwaters of Kerala. Houseboat is one of the 50 “must do” things as described by the National Geographic Traveller magazine. The backwater cruise through the narrow canals that criss-cross a typical Kerala Village, rich with green paddy fields and verdant coconut trees and is a thrilling experience. The boat cruise takes you to small islets tucked away amidst those waters where you get glimpses of village at the best of its serenity and innocence. Lunch and dinner will be served on board.
